Yuri Kostowskyj

Yuri Kostowskyj began his career at Fruitman Kates as a co-op student in the University of Toronto’s Masters in Management and Professional Accounting program (MMPA) at the Rotman School of Business.

Yuri provides an integrated range of services consisting of; assurance and advisory, accounting, and taxation. Yuri prides himself on exemplary client service and makes every effort to understand his client’s business to better assist them in achieving their unique goals. Furthermore, Yuri leverages the strong technical skills obtained in achieving his Mechanical Engineering degree to assist clients in developing and implementing efficient industrial, financial and information technology processes.

As a member of the firm’s assurance team, Yuri is well versed in Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Yuri is experienced in numerous industries; including manufacturing, real-estate, financial services and Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) regulated issuers.

Yuri is a strong proponent of giving back to the industry through the mentoring of aspiring CPAs as a CPA Ontario mentor and to aspiring accountants as a professor of various accounting courses.
