Nyla Roopnarinesingh is a seasoned professional who has extensive experience in family law matters, forensic accounting, and business valuations. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Economics from the University of Toronto, is a Licensed Paralegal, Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) and is a certified specialist in Family and Estate matters (FDRP-Val). Nyla is also a trained Collaborative Practitioner, advocating for resolution through the use of alternative dispute resolution methods over traditional litigation.

Nyla’s expertise encompasses matrimonial matters, business valuations, fraud investigations, shareholder disputes, and litigation support.  Her analytical acumen is reflected in her Expert Reports, which are instrumental in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings.

In her current capacity, Nyla assists a diverse array of clients, offering expert analysis and customized solutions for complex financial issues.

She is actively involved in professional organizations like the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators, the Family Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario and several other professional organizations dedicated to collaborative practice and alternative dispute resolution. Nyla is also a respected author and speaker, contributing to various conferences and publications in her field.

Nyla has demonstrated a passion for social causes, which extends to her involvement and ongoing volunteer activities for several organizations including: CPA Canada Tax Clinics, the Canadian Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity and supporting animal welfare initiatives.  Nyla also sits on the Board of Directors for the Family Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario.
