Nyla Roopnarinesingh is an accomplished valuation and financial professional with extensive experience in family law matters, forensic accounting, and business valuations.

Nyla holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Economics from the University of Toronto, is a Licensed Paralegal, Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) and is a certified specialist in Family and Estate matters (FDRP-Val). Nyla is also a trained Collaborative Practitioner.

Nyla’s practice encompasses matrimonial and family law matters, business valuations, fraud investigations, shareholder disputes, and litigation support. Nyla is recognized for her rigorous analysis and ability to communicate complex financial issues clearly and objectively. Her analytical acumen is reflected in her Expert Reports, which are instrumental in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings.

Actively engaged in her profession, Nyla participates in several organizations dedicated to business valuation, family dispute resolution, collaborative practice, and alternative dispute resolution. She has also contributed to the profession as an author and speaker at conferences and through industry publications. In addition, she has served on the Board of Directors of the Family Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario.

Nyla’s commitment to service extends beyond her professional practice. Her volunteer work has included supporting CPA Canada tax clinics, the Canadian Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, and animal-welfare initiatives. Her combination of technical expertise, professional leadership, and community involvement reflects a sustained commitment to excellence and change.

In her personal time, Nyla enjoys reading, developing new skills and baking.
