Stephen Rice joined Fruitman Kates in 2018 as a Manager in the firm’s Tax Group. Bringing over 15 years of experience in tax and accounting, Stephen is a seasoned tax practitioner whose practice is centered around personal, corporate, trust, and estate tax compliance. He is particularly skilled in dealing with the Canada Revenue Agency and in identifying key taxation issues and planning opportunities for his clients. Known for providing practical, actionable advice, Stephen is committed to understanding the unique needs of each client. He excels in building trusting, long-term relationships, ensuring his clients feel confident and well-supported in their financial decisions.

When away from the office, Stephen can be found spending time with his family, or at the ski hill, hockey rink, and sitting behind a drum kit.
